Defining the Blog or News Project
Blog Output Folder:
This is where - on your local hard drive - you will store all of the files for this blog. This includes the database, output files and style sheets. Click the button to the right to select or create this output folder. This is absolutely necessary for the blog or news project to work properly.
Date Format:
This determines the appearance of the date in the HTML output. The choices are:
- Thursday, May 18, 2006
- 18-May-06 (US Military style)
- 5/18/2006
- 05/18/06
'At', '@' or ':'
Between the date and time display, one of these will be displayed.
Time Format:
This determines the appearance of the time in the HTML output. The choices are:
- 12:07:15 PM
- 12:07 PM
- 12:07:15 (24-hour)
- 12:07 (24-hour)
Include Time in Output
In the event of using this for a news page, the display of time is not necessary. If this check box is cleared, the time will not be displayed in the HTML output.
Blog Title
Well - name your blog or news project here. This will appear as the title and banner of the HTML output pages.
Maximum Page Size:
Older browsers have a limit on how much data they can display. Once the article size exceeds this value, a second page will be generated - and then a third - and a forth. When this happens, the HTML output will include a navigation menu for back and next.
