A simple Blog (or News-page) management program designed for everyone else on the planet!
The American Techpushers Blog Monkey is built around the idea of bringing Blog functionality into the hands of people that don't have an extensive knowledge of or interest in web design and programming. With that in mind, the Blog Monkey is designed around the blog content itself: that once the setup is all taken care of, it's just a matter of writing messages and posting them.
About the only thing we could not make "really super easy to do" is the FTP setup. For some, that part of it will be the only hurdle.
But - everything we can think of has been done to make the use of this software as easy and painless as possible. If Mom can use it without too many questions, then I've done my job!
Features of the UNregistered version
- Loaded with a ton of HTML functions that appear color coded in the text
- Insert images positioned to the left or right with wrap-wround text
- Modest color selection - interface matches CSS color scheme
- Messages are fully edittable - and even the date can be changed
- For news blogs - the display of time can be disabled
- File naming options include using an index.html (default)
- Review messages in the database - including a list-by-date selection
- Text options: Font type-face, size, color, alignment
- Fully compliant HTML files produced for use on your site
- The CSS files are compatible with both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox
