American Techpushers dives into the strange and exotic world of software with the introduction of American Techpushers Blog Monkey: a program that gives everyone the power of the blog without the need for administration, expertise in SQL databases or any understanding of PHP programming - or even HTML for that matter..
What is a "Blog"?
A weblog (usually shortened to blog, but occasionally spelled web log) is a web-based publication consisting primarily of periodic articles (normally in reverse chronological order). Although most early weblogs were manually updated, tools to automate the maintenance of such sites made them accessible to a much larger population, and the use of some sort of browser-based software is now a typical aspect of "blogging". Blogs can be hosted by dedicated blog hosting services, or they can be run using blog software on regular web hosting services.

So --- who's going to want to use this software?
Answer: Anyone that wants to blog (or post news pages) inside their own webspace without having to rely on others to set it up and administer the blog. There is no need for an SQL server, the data is stored on your own hard drive.
Answer: Any web designer that wants to give blog or news functionality over to the web site owner without the tedium of any serious training
Answer: Any group or organization that wants to hand some blog functionality over to select members regardless of techical skill.
Does American Techpushers use this software?
We most certainly do. Our own need spawned the idea in the first place. We wanted a product news and announcements page for the site -- and we didn't like the software that we found for this sort of thing -- so we built our own.
We currently use the Blog Monkey for our news, customer feedback and specials sections of this site!
And how do I obtain this software?
American Techpusher's Blog Monkey is currently only available from our web site HERE. But -- this is expected to change in the next few weeks and months as we reach out to promote our exciting new software product.
So, where can I park my Blog pages?
Most people don't know this -- but -- most ISPs provide you with a modest space as part of your Internet account.
This is a perfect starting place!
You can also add the output of this software to your own web site if you have one, or to the site of any group or organization you may belong to.
